SOUTH LEBANON — A Middletown man was found dead in a gravel quarry Monday afternoon, the Warren County sheriff’s office said.
The body of Mark Gates, 31, was found beneath his vehicle around 1:30 p.m. by Oeder and Sons Sand and Gravel workers in the 1600 block of Mason Morrow Millgrove Road, officials said.
It appeared Gates’ vehicle went off the side of the gravel pit, but it was unclear how he died, the sheriff’s office said.
The body was released to the Warren County Coroner’s Office, which declined to comment.
