FARMERSVILLE — A man was arrested on drug charges late Monday night, July 20, after driving his car into a Farmersville house, according to Sgt. Kurt Althouse of the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
Althouse said residents of a house in the 100 block of Hemple Road in Farmersville called authorities at 11:36 p.m. Monday to report that a car had gone off the road and ran into the house. No one in the house was injured, and everyone was outside when emergency crews arrived.
Althouse said the car’s driver also escaped serious injury, but officers at the scene found drugs in the car. The man, whose name was not released, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
