PERRY TWP., Montgomery County – A 61-year-old Lewisburg man has been arrested Thursday, Sept. 2, for allegedly having sexual contact with at least two children he met at a church where he is a church leader.
Perry Twp. Police are searching the home of Michael Windham, a nearby cabin and have confiscated his truck. Charges against the suspect are pending and he is being sent to the Montgomery County Jail.
Police Chief Bob Bowman said the alleged victims, now both 18, came forward and gave police names of at least three more possible victims.
Some of the sex acts may have occurred at the Plainview Open Bible Church on Johnsville Brookville Road in Perry Twp., according to Bowman. The sex acts are believed to have occurred over five years.
Windham is the co-owner of K's Restaurant in Brookville.
