BROOKVILLE (Sept. 1): The driver of a truck with heavy damage to the right front and a smoking flat tire said he didn’t know what he hit, and he had not been drinking, although he had trouble standing when he exited the vehicle.
Somewhere behind him on the road what was left of a fire hydrant was found sheered off. A witness was also found, and marijuana and metal pipe in the truck.
The driver was cited for failure to control and OVI and was issued a summons after arrest for drug paraphernalia and a minor misdemeanor for drug abuse. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
