Fairborn woman, 83, hit by vehicle and killed

FAIRBORN — An 83-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday, Dec. 16, near Fairborn First Baptist Church, 1167 Highview Drive, Fairborn police said.
Elizabeth L. Wilson of Fairborn was dead when police and emergency medical crews arrived on scene, police said.
The accident happened about 6:12 p.m. and is still under investigation.
Wilson was taken to the Miami Valley Crime Laboratory, where an autopsy is scheduled at the county coroner’s office.
There were no signs that alcohol or any type of driver impairment was a factor, police said.
