FRANKLIN — A Dayton man is wanted in connection with trafficking heroin, according to Franklin police.
An investigation into complaints of illegal drug activity revealed that Jeffrey Guy Jr., 23 of the 200 block of Geneva Road in Dayton, sold heroin in the area of the Franklin Commons Apartment Complex and then fled in his vehicle when officers approached, according to police.
Police said Guy reportedly bailed out of his car and fled on foot while still in the complex. Two passengers also fled on foot. One male was apprehended later and released without being charged, according to police.
Guy was released from the Noble Correctional Institute in November 2011, according to Franklin police chief Russ Whitman, after serving four years for involuntary manslaughter. Franklin police believe he may be armed and is considered dangerous.
Whitman said Guy was involved in a drug case in December, but was not charged.
Anyone with information on Guy’s whereabouts or his unknown passenger is asked to contact their local police department or the Franklin Police Department at (937) 746-2882.
