GREENVILLE, Darke County — The investigation into the homicide of Patrick Cheadle of Ansonia, 54, has been expanded into Randolph County in east Central Indiana.

Investigators believe the crime occurred at a rural residence in that county, which abuts Darke County, according to information the Greenville Police Department released Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Randolph County Deputy Sheriff Tom Pullins declined to release any information regarding the investigation.

“There’s a victim involved here and I don’t want to do anything to compromise our investigation,” Pullins said.

Cheadle’s body was found Nov. 3 in a parked vehicle in the 400 block of Elm Street. The cause of death has not been released publicly.
