Police responded to a neighbor’s complaint of a man on a riding mower, cutting his lawn at 12:30 a.m.
Police said he was intoxicated.
He said he had a good reason to be mowing since he worked during the day and noted that an advisory suggested that lawns be mowed after 6 p.m.
Police did not buy his argument and arrested him for OVI, had his driving privileges suspended (for a car, not necessarily for a mower), gave him a court date and released him to his wife.
