Man died from natural causes, Darke County coroner says

GREENVILLE — A 39-year-old Greenville man police found Oct. 3 on the ground and unresponsive died of natural causes, the Darke County coroner has ruled.

Kevin R. Bruner of Surry Lane was found by police who had been dispatched about 1:50 a.m. on report about a fight in the 300 block of South Broadway, according to Greenville police.

Bruner was taken to Wayne Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later, the coroner’s office said in a statement released Friday, Nov. 20, by the police department.

The ensuing investigation by police and the coroner’s office included interviews, witness statements, video surveillance and the physical findings of the autopsy conducted at the Miami Valley Crime Lab.
