KETTERING — (Nov. 27): An officer responded to Kettering Hospital, 3535 Southern Blvd., on a bomb threat.

Security said that a patient in the ER was receiving telephone calls from the boyfriend who had assaulted her that day. When the boyfriend was refused contact via telephone, he told the operator he was going to blow up the building.

The Miami Twp. Police Department was contacted, and officers arrested the 34-year-old man on charges of aggravated menacing and telephone harassment.
