Masked gunman attempted to rob wireless store, police say

RIVERSIDE — Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Wireless World store at 239 Woodman Drive on Friday night, Nov. 20.

The suspect wore a mask and displayed a handgun during the robbery attempt, said Sgt. K. Griffin of the Riverside Police department.

The attempt was unsuccessful and the suspect fled the scene, according to Griffin. No further details were available about the failed robbery.

No injuries were reported during the incident, which happened around 9 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white man about 5-foot, six-inches tall.

People with information should call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at (937) 225-4357 and ask to speak with someone from Riverside Police.
