LEBANON — Blood tests found no alcohol or drugs in an Arkansas woman’s system on June 27, when her pick-up crossed the center line on Ohio 123 and struck a motorcycle, killing a Warren County couple, officials said.
Amber Rogers, 40, of Bald Knob, Ark., is charged with vehicular homicide, a misdemeanor, as well as traveling left of center and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Presence of alcohol or drugs could have supported a felony charge. On Thursday, investigators said the blood tests proved negative.
Rogers, living in the area while working on an underground pipeline project, was headed to her local residence when she crashed into the motorcycle carrying Amy Dorn, 22, of Lebanon, and Aaron Adams, 26, of Wayne Twp.
Rogers is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on Thursday, Aug. 5, in Lebanon Municipal Court.
Adams and Dorn were traveling to meet friends after attending a friend’s wedding at Camp Kern.
