TROY — Bail of $600,000 was ordered Wednesday, July 8, for a Piqua man charged with felony rape of a child under age 10.

Jedidiah J. Campbell, 27, also is charged with felony pandering obscenity involving a minor, according to charges filed in Miami County Municipal Court.

Piqua police said Campbell allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a girl he knows between May 2006 and May 31. He also is accused of possessing child pornography on a computer.

Campbell’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 16 in Municipal Court.
