Shooting in Centerville being investigated as self-inflicted, police say

CENTERVILLE — Police said Tuesday morning, Nov. 17, that a person found shot to death Monday night near Millshire and Clintshire drives was considered a suicide.

“All indications are that it was a suicide,” said Centerville police officer John Davis. Davis said the victim was a 52-year-old Kettering man.

Police and emergency medical crews from Centerville, Kettering and Washington Twp. were dispatched about 10:15 p.m. to Iron Horse Park, on a report of a person found with a gunshot to the head.
