SUGARCREEK TWP., Greene County — The Sugarcreek Twp. man charged with exposing himself and harassing people while wearing a women’s swimsuit in June was found guilty of menacing and public indecency in Xenia Municipal Court on Thursday, Aug. 13.

Kevin L. Miller, 41, of Washington Mill Road, was sentenced to three years probation by Judge Michael Murry. He was also sentenced to 180 days in jail, but given credit for 67 days already served. The other 113 days were suspended on the condition that he commit no further violations in the next six years and successfully complete the terms of his probation.

Miller pleaded guilty to two counts of public indecency and one count of menacing, with the other five counts of the same charges dismissed.

Sugarcreek Twp. police received several reports in the first week of June that a man in a women’s swimsuit was harassing people along the Little Miami River. Police said in at least two cases, the man chased the women and girls involved.

When police went to question Miller on June 8, they found him wearing a green, one-piece swimsuit and arrested him.

Sugarcreek Sgt. Mark White said Thursday that township police have not been notified of any specific terms of Miller’s probation.

“We’ll keep an eye on this, and hopefully we’ll have no reportable incidents of that type,” White said. Prosecutors and Miller’s attorney did not return calls seeking comment.
