Trotwood police investigating homicide

TROTWOOD — Police are investigating an apparent homicide near Deer Creek Apartments on Friday, March 19.

The victim, identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office as Antoine West, 25, was found at 716 Kelford Place.

There was no forced entry, said Sgt. Michael Vickers of the Trotwood Police Department.

A single suspect came in through the front door, “there were several shots fired and (West) was struck and deceased from one of the wounds,” Vickers said.

Police have several leads, but no suspect has been identified, Vickers said.
