TROTWOOD (Dec. 3): Either just before or after stealing a salt lick behind the barn, vandals cut several extension cords to Christmas decorations in front of a home while also taking a Santa and five reindeer.
Left behind was a wire snowman.
“No Trespassing” signs on the property were ignored.

Thanksgiving prep takes precedent for crash victim
SPRINGBORO (Nov. 24): It was the night before Thanksgiving when a Springboro woman declined to be transported for treatment for possible back and neck injuries after a car crash on West Central Avenue.
The woman said she was too busy getting ready for company coming the next day for dinner. She and her husband said they would seek treatment if the pain worsened.
The other driver was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance and drunken driving.
