MIAMISBURG — Three people have been taken to hospitals from a three-vehicle accident this afternoon, June 5, at Ohio 725 near the northbound entrance ramp to Interstate 75.

A white minivan traveling west on 725 ran a red light and collided with an SUV and a sedan about 5:45 p.m., Miamisburg police Sgt. Joan Manning said.

The two vehicles that were struck were turning left onto the northbound 75 on-ramp, Manning said.

The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to hospitals, she said, with the minivan driver reportedly in serious condition.

The names and ages of the drivers were not immediately available.

Westbound 725 has been blocked and traffic is being re-routed to 75 by emergency personnel. The roadway is expected to reopen by 6:45 p.m.
