4 injured, 1 critically, in Ohio 48 crash

CLAYTON — A car accident along Ohio 48 at Old Salem Road at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, injured four people, one critically.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Angela Thompson, 39, of Englewood was driving north on Ohio 48 when her vehicle crossed the center line and ran head-on into a southbound car driven by Catherine Mielke of Wauseon, Ohio.

Mielke, 53, was traveling with Adam, 27, and Rachel Mielke, 24. The Mielkes were transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Thompson was initially taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for ventilation, and then transferred to Miami Valley Hospital.

Thompson was listed in critical condition Sunday, Nov. 15.

Catherine and Rachel Mielke were listed in fair condition Sunday, according to hospital officials. Adam Mielke was treated and released.
