DAYTON — Seven area women have been named the YWCA Dayton’s Women of Influence Class of 2010 and will be honored at a community luncheon March 18 at the Dayton Convention Center.
The prestigious award is presented annually to women who represent and contribute to the greater Dayton community and serve as role models for others. Close to 1,000 typically attend the special afternoon.
This year’s list includes:
• Madonna Allread, Community Volunteer.
• Mary Ellington, Executive Director, Innerwest Community Development Corporation.
• Toni Perry Gillispie, Director, External Affairs, AT&T Ohio.
• Renee Rubin Handel, Community Volunteer.
• Susan Kettering, Community Volunteer.
• Rita Price, Community Volunteer.
• Karen Townsend, President, Advanced Management Solutions.
• Joyce Young, community volunteer, will be recognized at the luncheon and given the YWCA Dayton’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the organizations.
