City or Troy requesting to not mix garbage, leaves

The city of Troy is asking residents not to mingle other yard waste or items with leaves that they place out for collection by city crews.
Mingling items such as grass or brush or other trash not only slows the leaf pick up process, but also could lead to damaged equipment, the city staff said.
