MIAMI VALLEY —Most of the Miami Valley had to endure negative wind chills Saturday morning as an extreme spell of wintry weather swept through the area.
Snowfall was limited to just an inch or two in most spots, but temperatures below ten degrees and subzero wind chills lingered throughout the morning. Accumulation is possible throughout the rest of the day, but falling temperatures are the biggest problem.
"Accumulations will be very little if any," Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Erica Collura said. "Wind chills will fall through the single-digits and back below zero tonight."
Temperatures should climb back to the high 20s during Sunday, Collura said.
