If you haven’t bought your Christmas tree yet, the city of Beavercreek Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture hopes you’ll consider buying a live tree and then, when you’re done with it, letting the city plant it in one of its parks.
Park department employees will pick it up at your home and plant it in one of the city’s 23 parks, numerous beautification areas and green spaces as a part of its ForEverGreen project.
The directions are simple: purchase the tree from a reputable vendor and follow their instructions on how to keep the tree fresh and alive.
After the holidays, call the parks department at (937) 427-5514 to schedule a pick-up of the tree, or for more information on the program.
