MIDDLETOWN — Interstate 75 southbound lanes were all shut down early this morning just south of Ohio 122 as crews worked to clear an accident scene involving four semitrucks and one minivan.
Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers around 2:30 a.m. today, Oct. 14, were calling for at least two heavy-duty tow trucks to haul two tractor-trailers with heavy damage. The minivan also sustained heavy damage while two other semis had little damage, according to dispatch reports.
At least two people were transported from the scene to an area hospital, but no other information was immediately available.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
