RIVERSIDE— It is business as usual today, July 11, after a small fire at Kmart, 601 Woodman Dr., according to store manager Ron Monmaney.

The fire was confined to an air conditioning unit, Monmaney said. Customers will not notice anything out of the ordinary at the store today, he said.

He said the store is open its regular hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The 11 p.m. fire brought fire crews from Dayton, Harrison Twp. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and other area departments on Friday. The store was closed and there were fewer than five employees inside when they smelled smoke and call the fire department.
