LEBANON — Ohio First Lady Frances Strickland will be the keynote speaker Thursday, Sept. 9 at the Warren County Democratic Party dinner.
Bethe A. Goldenfield, chairwoman of the county Democratic Party, said a number of other local and state Democratic candidates will also be at the dinner, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Warren County Career Center on Ohio 48.
Strickland will be campaigning for her husband, Gov. Ted Strickland who is seeking re-election to a second four-year term.
She said more than 100 people have registered to attend the event.
Goldenfield said there will be a few tickets for the dinner at the door. Other Democratic candidates scheduled to attend are Surya Yalamanchili, who is running for the 2nd Congressional District seat; Marcia Garrison, who seeking the 35th Ohio House District seat; and Anne Howard, who is running for the 67th Ohio House District seat. Goldenfield said there will be other state Democratic officials attending the dinner.
