BEAVERCREEK — HomeGoods will open its first Dayton-area store on March 11 at 2500 N. Fairfield Road in the Beavercreek Shopping Center, a spokeswoman for HomeGoods said Monday.
Robyn Arvedon, public relations manager for Framingham, Mass.-based HomeGoods, said the new store will open at 8 a.m. March 11, but provided no other information about the region’s first HomeGoods location.
She said in an email that other details about the new store will be released later this month. The store will be located across from the Mall at Fairfield Commons.
HomeGoods describes itself as an off-price home fashions store, providing brand and designer merchandise at prices 20 percent to 60 percent less than finer catalog, specialty and department store prices, according to its website.
The stores average 27,000 square feet and stock rugs, lamps, accent furniture, wall art, candles, tableware, cookware, cutlery, small kitchen appliances, bed sheets, blankets, comforters, pillows, home-office furniture and desk accessories, and seasonal items. New merchandise arrives weekly.
HomeGoods operates 325 stores nationwide, including three in the Columbus area and three in the greater Cincinnati area.
It is part of The TJX Companies, which also operate T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores.
The Beavercreek store’s hours are listed on the HomeGoods website as Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The store’s phone number is listed as (937) 431-1063.
