DAYTON — The fire that sent a man to the hospital with injuries related to smoke inhalation has been ruled an arson, Dayton Fire Asst. Chief Michael Caudill said.
Crews responded to a house at 117 N. Philadelphia St. about 6 a.m. this morning Wednesday, Sept. 30, according to firefighters.
Flames were seen coming from the one-story and fire crews on the scene declared the fire under control at 6:20 a.m.
The man’s condition is unclear at time. Caudill said though the fire was minor, there was a significant amount of smoke.
