KETTERING — An early morning fire today, Sunday, Jan. 31, displaced a dozen residents of an apartment building at 5544 Bigger Road in Kettering.

Officials with the Kettering Fire Department said the 911 call came in at 5:55 a.m. and that fire damaged four units of the Heritage Knoll apartments.

There were no injuries and damage costs have not been determined.

Investigators suspect an electrical problem as the cause of the fire.

Fire crews cleared the scene at about 11:05 a.m., officials said.

The Red Cross is on the scene to help those displaced find housing.
