LEBANON — The Ohio Highway Patrol’s Lebanon post recently selected its trooper and dispatcher of the year.
Selected as Trooper of the Year was Christopher Creech, 27, who joined the patrol in 2006. He is a native of Dayton and is a graduate of Belmont High School.
Creech was selected by his fellow troopers at the Lebanon post for the annual honor.
He and his wife, Emily, reside in Hamilton with their son Mason.
Dispatcher Neil Yockey was selected by his fellow dispatchers for the annual honor.
Yockey, 39, joined the patrol in 2007 and has served at the Hamilton and Lebanon posts.
He is a native of Sardinia and is a graduate of Eastern Brown High School.
Yockey and his wife, Kelley, reside in Sardinia with their daughter Sydney.
Creech and Yockey are now in contention for the patrol’s district and state awards to be announced at a later date.
