MIAMISBURG — Miamisburg school officials on Monday said derogatory comments about law enforcement spray painted on the Miamisburg High School has been removed — but caused about $300 in damages.
Scott Gilbert, district business director, said police are still investigating the matter and that anyone with information is asked to contact Miamisburg police.
Police were notified around 9:47 a.m. Sunday of the graffiti on the building at 1860 Belvo Road.
Police Sgt. William Kelly said one of the spray-painted messages equated police with a swastika, while another read “Cop Killer.”
Gilbert said that up until now, the district has been fortunate.
“We really have not had much graffiti,” he said. “The good news is that it was easy to remove.”
