MIDDLETOWN — MidUSA Credit Union Inc. is switching its debit cards from Visa to MasterCard, according to a news release.
The Visa cards will stay active until January, but members of the credit union will begin receiving new cards through the mail in November. The process to convert started Monday, according to the release.
This follows another recent change at the Middletown-based financial institution. Its name changed from MidFirst in August because a financial institution with a similar name in Oklahoma, called MidFirst Bank, asked for it, according to the credit union.
The new debit cards will have the new MidUSA name. MidUSA has more than 18,000 members in Butler, Warren and Montgomery counties.
