Moraine crash scene cleared; all I-75 lanes now open

MORAINE – All lanes of Interstate 75 have been reopened following an earlier crash in the median at the 48 mile marker.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near the Cooper Tires building at about 4:30 p.m. and emergency responders had several northbound lanes and one southbound lane closed for about 30 minutes.

According to radio traffic, one vehicle went airborne after a collision and landed in the median between the north and southbound lanes.

According to a Moraine dispatcher, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. Details about injuries were unknown.
