A multi-car accident at Little York and Johnson Station roads in Vandalia shut down the tunnel on Little York for at least a half hour Saturday morning.

A police dispatcher said the accident occurred about 9:30 a.m. and involved three or four vehicles. At least one person was removed from their car with unknown injuries and transported to a nearby hospital, the dispatcher said.
