The Warren County Historical Society and the Lebanon Theatre Company will present a murder mystery dinner Feb. 27 at the Warren County History Center, 105 S. Broadway St., Lebanon.
The murder mystery play centers around the Shakers of Union Village, now Otterbein Home, and takes place during one of the Warren County Historical Society’s quarterly Shaker dinners and lectures. Guests will be served a full Shaker dinner. Doors open at 6 p.m. for hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Guest should arrive no later than 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and must be purchased in advance. For tickets, call the Warren County Historical Society at (513) 932-1817. All proceeds will benefit the two organizations.
The play, “Murder at the Museum,” was originally written for the Shaker Museum at Pleasant Hill, Ky., by Deborah Woodworth. Jay Foltz, director for the play and a member of the Lebanon Theatre Company, adapted the Pleasant Hill version for the Warren County Historical Society.
