Powell and his vehicle was discovered by two sons this morning when they arrived at his home to help with farm work, according to Powell’s niece, who did not give her name. One son called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers they could not get Powell out of the vehicle and needed help.
Family members told News Center 7 Powell had been out with a group of friends prior to the incident, but did not say where he had been. He was alone in his vehicle when he crashed.
