SUGARCREEK TWP., Greene County — More than 10 people have reported during the past week being harassed by a man in a woman’s bathing suit, including some children, police said Sunday, June 7.
Sgt. Mark White said the man appears to have “a fetish, if you will,” and wears a green or blue one-piece suit.
Police received four reports on Tuesday, then more on Friday and Saturday, White said. The incidents all occurred along Washington Mill Road between Ohio 725 and Graf Mill Road.
That stretch runs along the Little Miami River, and some of the reports have come from women who are canoeing down the river, White said.
“It appears females are his target,” White said. “It’s all verbal at this point, asking them how he looks.”
None of the victims has reported that the man touched them. After speaking to them, he then flees into nearby woods or briskly walks away from the victims, White said.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity, or who has been approached by him but hasn’t reported it, is asked to call police at 848-6161.
