Residents with questions about taxation, expenditures or other aspects of Beavercreek Schools’ operations are invited to attend a series of meetings billed as “Community Conversations” that will be held in January and February.
District leaders, including Superintendent Nick Verhoff, Treasurer Stephen Maag and members of the Beavercreek Board of Education are inviting residents to take part in small group discussions designed to promote greater interaction.
“School funding is complicated and frequently misunderstood, and we want to offer residents the opportunity to sit down and converse with district leaders in an informal fashion,” Verhoff said. “Our goal is to provide them with answers to their most pressing questions.”
Community Conversations meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at the following dates and locations:
• Jan. 26, Shaw Elementary, 3560 Kemp Road
• Feb. 1, Main Elementary, 2942 Dayton-Xenia Road
• Feb. 8, Fairbrook Elementary, 260 N. Fairfield Road
• Feb. 15, Parkwood Elementary, 1791 Wilene Drive
• Feb. 21, Valley Elementary, 3601 Jonathan Drive
