Tiffany Tehan and Tre B. Hutcherson will appear on Thursday’s “Inside Edition” television show to discuss their road trip to Miami Beach.

In a Monday night “Inside Edition” promo to the April 29 show, Tehan said: “I want America to know I am sorry.”

In Dayton, the program will air at 7 p.m. on NBC’s WDTN-TV Channel 2.

“Inside Edition” released a photo from the interview showing Tehan sporting hair that has been cut and dyed red. A program spokesperson would provide no other details Monday such as if the couple was being paid for their appearance.

NBC’s “Today Show” reported Monday that Tehan plans to stay with Hutcherson, with whom she ran off on April 17, but the morning program did not have any audio or video footage of Tehan making the statement.

Tehan, 31, was reported missing after she did not return home from a solo shopping trip.

Days later, Xenia police found out that Tehan had run off with Hutcherson, 42, of Dayton and that the two were romantically involved.

Hutcherson is also married. Tehan left behind her husband, David, and their 1-year-old daughter, Alexis.

On April 22, Xenia police announced that Tehan and Hutcherson were found in Miami Beach, Fla.

“Now, she says that she wants to stay with her new boyfriend for good, telling NBC News ‘We’re in love,’ Jeff Rossen, a reporter for “Today”, said before the program broadcast tape of Tehan and Hutcherson leaving the Hillsboro, Ohio, home of Tehan’s parents last weekend.

When asked why they ran off, Hutcherson said, “No comment right now.”

Asked if they were sorry for what happened, Hutcherson said, “Yes, of course.”

Hutcherson said he and Tehan were going to an undisclosed location.

Meantime Monday, Tiffany Tehan’s Ford Explorer — complete with its chronically flat back left tire — was back in front of the Tehans’ home in Xenia.

Police returned the vehicle and its contents, which included children’s clothes purchased the day Tehan disappeared.
