DAYTON — Add 10 new names to the prestigious list of Miami Valley women who have been honored as Ten Top Women through the years.
This year’s honorees, selected from more than 100 nominations, will share their stories at the 47th annual Ten Top Women luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Schuster Center. The event is sponsored by the Dayton Daily News.
Those honored include:
• Eloise Broner, chief operating officer, Good Samaritan Hospital.
• Mary Duley, secretary/foster mother.
• Lt. Gen. Terry L. Gabreski, vice commander, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, United States Air Force.
• Bobbie Gerhart, chief operating officer, Miami Valley Hospital.
• Judy Hennessey, superintendent/CEO, DECA.
• Marilyn McCauley, consultant, earned value management professional.
• Patricia S. Meadows, executive director, National Conference for Community and Justice of Greater Dayton.
• Bishop Marva Mitchell, chairwoman of the board of directors of Project Impact — Dayton/Revival Center Ministries.
• Joyce E. Price, vice president and COO, Community Action Partnership of Greater Dayton.
• Heidi R. Ries, dean for research, Air Force Institute of Technology.
The event is open to the community. Tickets for the luncheon are $60 per person, including a $20 optional and tax deductible donation to NIE (Newspapers in Education).
