MORAINE — Two adults were transported to a local hospital after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Springboro Pike and South Dixie Drive.

The accident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. Monday.

Police scanner traffic suggested that at least one person might have been rescued from a vehicle.

A preliminary investigation suggests that a driver of one of the vehicles ran a red light and struck a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn, according to WHIO-TV.

A child in one of the vehicles was not injured.

Kettering EMTs provided mutual aid to Moraine.

No other details were immediately available.
