XENIA — Three countywide levies easily won approval from Greene County voters Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to unofficial results from the Greene County Board of elections.

The Mental Health and Recovery Board won, 25,279 to 12,463 to renew a 1.5-mill levy after voters defeated a larger request a year ago. The agency has seen deep cuts in state funding and an increased demand in services.

The levy will cost $32.40 for every $100,000 of property value, according to the county auditor.

The Council on Aging replacement and additional request for a total of 1 mill won 24,725 to 13,188 to fund the continuation of senior activities and services. The levy will cost $30.64 for every $100,000 of property value.

The Greene County Library levy, which provides $3.2 million annually or more than half the agency’s funding, won 30,990 to 11,739. The library supports branches in Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Cedarville, Fairborn, Yellow Springs and Xenia.

AM, your arguments are as confused as your English. (Consfused in your language). Don't consfuse your "legal alien" status with "naturalized citizen". You have been welcomed here, as a guest, you are the one unhappy - don't project that on us. Don't pretend that I would be as welcomed in your country, besides, I am perfectly happy with the governance and taxes I pay. I fully support a robust immigration policy. And how does historical treatment of Native Americans support any coherent argument?

Love it or Leave it, this is the US hospitality I guess? At least we have a land to fall back on with good governance. Sadly, where will you move to? When we leave, we'll remember to reserve a place for you in the waiting; to accept you with hospitality, dignity and show you how best to govern. BTW, fear not a revolution from us unlike what you did to annihilate the Native Indian's. My country! My *** or should I say *RSE!

AM, seems like you have a lot of problems. Lets try to get to the bottom of this: You are a "legal alien" who has sued someone over a pet issue?? and can't cash in because the "fugitive" has no money. You live in an expensive home and didn't factor in the taxes on your lavish lifestyle. You feel self righteous that you are the smarter than us and need to "save us" when your issues relate to the only person you care about: you. Don't go talking revolution in a country that is not your own.

Consfused Yankee! I know my American history much better than you folks know of your own. As a legal alien. I'm denied a VOTE. Now here to assist your defense establishment who cannot think beyond their privates. Without the help of my fellow colleges all of whom are global citizens elsewhere, where will you Yankees be today? Isn't this taxation without representation? Very soon it will you who with your thinking who will have to move leaving your own country behind.

Quick history oversimplification: We threw out the British because they were taxing and not allowing us to vote.

These levies were public votes to raise/sustain the levies listed. The only people to blame are your neighbors - enough of whom votes for these levies to succeed.

Otherwise, I would suggest moving to somewhere unincorporated.
