Voting locations will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Contact your county board of elections to find out where your polling place is. You can also find your polling place online at www.sos.state.oh.us

You will need a valid photo ID, such as an Ohio driver’s license, state or government ID. The ID must show name and address, although the address does not have to be current. Those without a photo ID must provide a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check, or other government document that shows the voter’s name and address. Voters without ID can vote by provisional ballot.
Look for partly sunny skies with temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to 30s.

State issues
Issue 1: Whether to authorize the state to issue bonds to pay bonuses to veterans of the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
Issue 2: Whether to allow the state to create the Ohio livestock care standards board, to establish and implement standards of care for livestock and poultry in Ohio.
Issue 3: Whether to allow the state to put casinos in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo.
Levies
Miami Valley voters will decide more than 60 tax levies for the Dayton Metro Library, Five Rivers MetroParks and more than 10 school districts. School districts asking for additional money include Xenia, Trotwood, Sidney, Eaton and Cedar Cliff.
Beavercreek, Jefferson Twp., Springfield and Piqua school districts are asking voters to renew existing levies. Many other communities have levies on the ballot for fire, police, EMS, roads and other services.
Contested races
Voters in Dayton, Xenia, Fairborn, Clayton, Piqua, and West Milton have races for mayor. In Dayton, Mayor Rhine McLin is running for a third term against Southeast Priority Board President Gary Leitzell.
