Men of Soul to perform at Fraze

The rhythm and blues group Men of Soul will take the Fraze Pavilion stage at 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, according to an announcement today. .

Tickets will be available starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Fraze FanFare store in Town & Country Shopping Center, located at 300 E. Stroop Road in Kettering. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.etix.com or by phone at 1-800-514-3849. Prices range from $32 to $57. There is a limit of four tickets per person on the first day of sale.

The band features soul singers Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, Freddie Jackson and Howard Hewett.

R&B vocalist Osborne’s career has spanned several decades, and his songs include “On the Wings of Love,” “Don’t You Get So Mad,” “Only Human” and “The Woo Woo Song,” according to The Men of Soul Tour website. He is the voice of the band LTD.

Oscar and Grammy award winner Bryson’s songs include “Feel the Fire,” “Reaching for the Sky,” “I’m So into You” and “Can You Stop the Rain?”

R&B artist Jackson’s hits include “Rock With Me,” “Jam Tonight,” “You are My Lady” and “I Don’t Want to Lose Your Love.”

Hewett’s career has spanned more than three decades. He is the former lead man for the music trio Shalamar. His songs include “Second Time Around,” “A Night to Remember” and “This Is For The Lover In You.”
