Five things Trump supporters said in Springfield

We attended the Donald Trump rally in Springfield on Thursday and asked people there what they thought about his claim that if he loses it will be because the election is rigged and his call for his supporters to go to the polls to watch other voters to make sure there is no fraud.

Here’s what five people had to say.

Scott Buroker, Urbana

“I think it’s warranted. If (Hillary Clinton) can cheat, she would.”

Margo Jackson, Toledo

“I think it’s unconstitutional. You have to let people go do their thing. You shouldn’t watch them or intimidate them.”

Kenneth Moore, of Springfield

“I don’t think widespread voter fraud or having a lot of dead people vote of multiplying the vote in Hillary supporting communities is a big problem. But I think it’s good to have monitors just to make sure. I’m a Reagan guy, trust but verify.”

Josh Sheppeard, of Springfield

He said he believes there is widespread voter fraud but that it is rarely talked about in the media.

“You never hear about people being prosecuted for that.”

Terera Mahoney, Ashland, Kentucky

She thinks sending Trump supporters as observers is a good idea and that Democrats are the ones who have tried to tip the scales of the election through intimidation.

“I think it should be done absoloutely.”
