Fourth of July events in Butler, Warren counties

Communities throughout Butler and Warren counties will be celebrating Independence Day with events including fireworks, parades and concerts.

Here’s your guide to the local events:

::BUTLER COUNTY::

FAIRFIELD

Red White and Kaboom, July 3 at 10 p.m. There are four city-sponsored viewing locations: Fairfield Aquatic Center, Harbin Park, Village Green and Marsh Lake.

Fairfield Aquatic Center Fireworks Swim, July 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Fairfield Aquatic Center, 2605 Augusta Blvd.

Harbin Park, Music begins at 8:30 p.m. July 3 at 1300 Hunter Road

Village Green, Music begins at 8 p.m. July 3 at 301 Wessel Drive

Red, White & Fish, July 3 from 5 to 11 p.m. at Marsh Lake, 6440 River Road

HAMILTON

Fourth of July Parade, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at the Butler County Fairgrounds (1715 Fairgrove Ave.), continue through Dayton Street and High Street and end at the Butler County Historic Courthouse.

Taste of Hamilton and Hamilton Concert Band Performance, July 4 at 10 a.m. at the Butler County Historic Courthouse

Native American and Pioneer Living Demonstrations, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Monument Park, 15 Monument Ave.

Patriotic Ceremony, July 4 at noon at the Butler County Historic Courthouse

July 4 concerts: Mark Joshua, 3:30 p.m. at Butler County Historic Courthouse; Divine Steel Drum Band, 4:30 p.m. at RiversEdge; Otta Here, 6:30 p.m. at RiversEdge; Noah Wotherspoon Band, 8:30 p.m. at RiversEdge

Stricker's Grove Fourth of July Celebration, 2 to 11 p.m. July 4 at Stricker's Grove Amusement Park, 11490 Hamilton Cleves Road. Free admission into the amusement park, tickets for rides available for purchase.

5K Run for Liberty, July 4 at 8 a.m. The run will start at the Lakota East High School stadium.

Fourth of July Parade, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at Lakota East High School and loop through Wyandot Lane, Stonehenge Boulevard, Stonerun Place, Woodstone Court, then back to the high school.

Liberty Center Red Wagon Parade, July 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Liberty Center

MIDDLETOWN

Independence Day Parade, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at Woodside Cemetery and end at Smith Park. An awards ceremony and children's fishing derby will be held after the parade.

Independence Day Celebration, July 3 at 4 p.m. in Smith Park, 500 Tytus Ave. Food, fireworks, games, inflatables and live music by the Romantics. Fireworks at sundown.

OXFORD

Freedom Festival Parade, July 2 at 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at the corner of College and High Street and continue onto High Street and Poplar Street.

Freedom Festival, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., fireworks at 10 p.m. at Oxford Community Park, 6801 Fairfield Road. Kid's activities like inflatables and a petting zoo, pie baking contest, food, community organization booths, music, and fireworks.

::WARREN COUNTY::

LEBANON

Independence Day Parade, July 3 at 4 p.m. in downtown Lebanon.

Independence Day Celebration, July 3 from 6 to 1o p.m. at Colonial Park West, 720 N. Broadway. Music at 7 p.m., fireworks at 10 p.m. Fireworks, music, food, inflatables and a petting zoo.

MASON

Red Rhythm and Boom, July 3 from 4 to 10 p.m. at Mason Municipal Campus, Mason-Montgomery Road. Performances by Phillip Phillips (8:30 p.m.) and Ben Rector (6 p.m.), kid's activities such as extreme air trampolines and a climbing wall, a sky diving show (5:30 p.m.), food and fireworks (10 p.m.).

Kings Island Fourth of July Spectacular, July 1-4 at Kings Island. Larger fireworks displays, park open until midnight, free admission for active and retired military members.
