Franklin police still seeking suspect from weekend armed robbery

Franklin police are continuing to investigate an armed robbery that occurred Saturday night shortly after 7:30 p.m. at an address in the 4400 block of Beal Rd.

Police Chief Russ Whitman issued a statement saying the initial investigation revealed that a suspect entered a house under construction on Beal Road, encountered the homeowner and stole the homeowner’s wallet at gunpoint.

Also taken at the time, but later recovered by police, was a white 2006 Toyota Tundra.

Police are still looking for the suspect, who was described as a black male wearing a hunting type jacket, dark color toboggan, dark rim glasses, and a mask covering his nose, mouth and chin.
