UPM, which has been in Hamilton since 1982, is looking to hire employees for various positions within the company, including a recent foray into laser operations. Positions include a part-time IT intern, a part-time HR intern, a full-time HR generalist, a full-time AP specialist, a full-time manufacturing engineering technician and two full-time third-shift plant ops assistants.

In 2017, UPM completed the integration of four leading brands in the metals industry, bringing its customers a broader and deeper selection of high-performance products and services than ever before, according to Scott Fasse, director of organizational development.
The company now maintains nine service centers worldwide. Additional facilities are located in Oakland, Calif.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Hartford, Conn.; Chicago, Ill.; Greenville, S.C.; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Budapest, Hungary; and Singapore.
