Gunshot victim found in vehicle in Hamilton

Police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting Saturday evening.

A black male wearing a red shirt and blue jeans reportedly was shooting at 24-year-old Jamie Moss, of Hamilton, as he chased him down Pershing Avenue on foot, according to emergency dispatchers.

Moss was found shot in a vehicle around 6:45 p.m. Saturday in front of Hamilton Fire Department Station 22 at 77 Pershing Ave., dispatchers told this media outlet.

He was taken by Hamilton life squad to Fort Hamilton Hospital. There’s not yet word on how many times he was shot, dispatchers said.

The other man fled the scene in a white 2007 Chevrolet. The exact model of the vehicle was not reported.
