Those looking to get into the holiday spirit can do so Saturday as the city of Miamisburg holds its annual parade, one with old-time touches.

The parade, which begins at 11:30 a.m. in the downtown area, will feature longtime resident and businessman Greg Bell as the grand marshal.

The theme of the event, which is expected to include more than 60 units, will be Shine on Star City, as Miamisburg plans to celebrate its bicentennial next year.

After the parade, the Baum Opera House will host Santa and Mrs. Claus, and hot chocolate and games will be available. Horse-drawn wagon rides will be available near Market Square and Miamisburg Community Center.
